glibberish.

Today I spent most of my lunch break in Powerbooks. I previously won 1000 pesos worth of gift cheques at our company photo club contest thing (yes we have that sort of thing here) and decided to spend it. Good timing too, because right now Powerbooks is on sale – 20% off. I got Stephen Ambrose’s Band of Brothers. I’ve been meaning to read it for years now, and finally, having just watched the ten-part miniseries for the fourth time, my resolve has.. er, been resolved.

All other books currently being devoured shall be put on hold. It’s also refreshing to read nonfiction, for a change.

I bought a Lonely Planet Cantonese phrasebook as well. Got to prepare myself for grad school in a few months. Phssh… me in grad school, who would’ve thunk?
