Damn! Almost made it to the 80s.

The Best.

Monday, April 23rd, 2007

Forget all those articles you read about geeks being good and loyal lovers.

Geeks are the BEST FRIENDS you can ever hope for in life, no exaggerations. And I am damn proud to be in the company of them.

Bye again, Riki. Your departure has proven the strength, love, companionship, and everything that is important in life the group you left behind possesses. I am moved by it, and because of it I will try to live my life by the examples you and your group have provided for me. I would have still wished you did not go this early, but know that by your death you have brought goodwill to the people you have met in your lifetime.

So Long, Riki.

A friend just passed away. He died of severe damage at the left side of his brain (hematoma), after having a stroke around 29 hours prior.

Years ago, I told Moongirl if I ever get married I’d make Riki one of the principal sponsors for my wedding. Because he’s one of the only geeks above the age 40 that I know. And he was a really good man.

So here’s to you, Ricardo Rodolfo Rafael Roxas Sunico, the coolest grown-up friend I know. You will be missed.

My thoughts go out to his family, friends and girlfriend Reitch.

Just saw the latest Amazing Race episode (the most fun episode so far!). The four racers left traveled this leg to Hong Kong. At some point, one of them exclaimed while crossing a busy intersection, “This is just like New York City, it’s unbelievable.”

I couldn’t have agreed more. >:)

Morning After v2.0

Monday, April 16th, 2007

After a very very very long wait, here finally is Outerhope’s newest full-band song release. Took me a while to finish because mixing this one is too hard. Actually, all full-band Outerhope songs are hard to mix in general, due to the presence of a lot of instrument layers.

So finally, here’s the mix that I like most.
