“What a mind-job!” -Cypher
Just spent the last two FULL days holed in my flat, in front of the computer. The object-oriented course assignment was to add features to the JHotDraw application – meaning, modifying and adding to existing code.
I never experienced so many ups and downs in my life! In those two days I felt frustration, glee, despair, euphoria, anger and shock. Figuring out somebody else’s program, with not a lot of knowledge on the programming language, is extremely difficult – and Java is the hell of it all. I have done several similar activities before with PHP, but those were nothing like this at all.
In the end, we prevailed! Hurrah! +2 INT buff for me for learning some more Java shit.
